March 25, 2017 Note From The Lieutenancy

I hate to admit it but this was an overwhelming week for me and although I was prepared to send you several messages this week, I just didn’t get a chance to come up for air.  Working on a project for the Grand Magisterium that turned out to be much more work than I expected.  Not an excuse for ignoring you all – just an explanation.

In any event, before I leave for home I am determined to get these readings out, even if a couple of them are arriving late.  Here they are – working backwards from today to earlier this week.

The 1st is of course recognizing today – Saturday – March 25 – The Feast of the Annunciation of the Lord.

The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, were prepared to send to you earlier this week – Sunday, March 19 – The Feast of St. Joseph.  I couldn’t decide which one to send so I guess I fell victim to procrastination.  Before I knew it, the day was gone and then the week…my apologies.  I don’t think it is ever too late to read about St. Joseph so I hope you enjoy doing so on this rainy afternoon.

Last, is a quick video about the official opening of the tomb in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Jerusalem.

Tomb of Jesus reopens in Jerusalem after multimillion-dollar renovation – reported on Wednesday, March 22
